The Win10 upgrade thread - How many PC's are you updating today?

I've just started my first of the day, it's my surface pro3, I've used the media creation tool and just selected the first update my PC option.

See step 3 here: How to Upgrade to Windows 10

I've a 8.1 macbook air and a Sony All-In-One to do after that.

I am going to hopefully upgrade 2 machines today, The first is my newer ASUS ROG G750JX Laptop which already downloaded the Windows ~ BT folder so it is ready to upgrade from WU.

The 2nd Computer is my oldest which is an almost 7 yr old HP Pavilion Elite m9458f Desktop PC that came with Vista, was upgraded to 7 Ultimate then for $15 bucks Win 8.0 and now destined to run Windows 10 although I will have to use the Media Creation Tool to upgrade it though.

Also I have another purchased copy of Win 7 Pro retail installed on a separate drive on the HP with no intention of upgrading it unless the computer dies within the free upgrade window and I have to build and new computer.

At first I thought you miss typed something... Holy shit, Vista is 8 years old. I feel old.

Anyway, as for the topic, 0 at the moment. I've been seeing some glitches already. I will wait a few weeks.

As the title says, I'm currently upgrading 10240 with the 'Upgrade This PC' option from the Microsoft tool here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...ion.html#step3

I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyone else doing this, post here with your results.

    Hi there

Going to do it on 1 Laptop and one Self built machine which had W8.1 on it. Then I'll wait for a while to see what happens --still running insider build 10240 on a few others.

    cheers

On reboot my macbook lost internet and no matter what I couldn't get it back up, I've just done a clean install on it now and all seems good so far.
