What do I need to make Windows10 upgrade all my computer P2P ?

Hi

Is there anything I must do to make all my PCs download from each other to upgrade WIn10,

Note they are all on same network (connected to same router) but I'm not sure if I need to create a homegroup or something like that?

Each Device will need it's own Win 10. I believe.

They wil share the files but not the OS unless all 3 devices have qualifying OS's on them such as Win 8.1,8 or 7.

I dont want them to share the OS, I just want to share the $Windows folder files and not download them on each device

Note all of the devices have qualified Windows 8.1 and one of them already started downloading bits

This is an excellent question, so I looked in Settings> Update & Recovery > Windows Update> Advanced options > Choose how updates are delivered

How does Delivery Optimization work?
Delivery Optimization works in two ways.

Download updates and apps from other PCs
In addition to downloading updates and apps from Microsoft, Windows will get updates and apps from other PCs that already have them. You can choose which PCs you get these updates from:

PCs on your local network. When Windows downloads an update or app, it will look for other PCs on your local network that have already downloaded the update or app using Delivery Optimization. Windows then downloads parts of the file from those PCs and parts of the file from Microsoft. Windows doesn’t download the entire file from one place. Instead, the download is broken down into smaller parts. Windows uses the fastest, most reliable download source for each part of the file.

PCs on your local network and PCs on the Internet. Windows uses the same process as when getting updates and apps from PCs on your local network, and also looks for PCs on the Internet that can be used as a source to download parts of updates and apps.

Send updates and apps to other PCs
When Delivery Optimization is turned on, your PC sends parts of apps or updates that you’ve downloaded using Delivery Optimization to other PCs on your local network, or on the Internet, depending on your settings.

I do not have a home network, so I cannot answer your question directly, so the next best thing is
Google search results for Peer-to-Peer Windows network. P2P is farily standard technology and any good reference should provide the information you need to set up the P2P network.

Please post the resolution you find so other embers (and I) can learn from your experience.

Right - sorry 'bout that. Advanced is in Win10 Settings.
