$Windows.~BT folder has downloaded 5.64GB in the last couple of hours and has now stopped, but still no installation message. Any ideas as to how to initiate installation as when I click on the GWX icon in taskbar it says Thanks for reserving a copy 'ok, notify me when ready'

Inside of regedit I show CurrentBuildNumber is 10240 & CurrentVersion is 6.3; can anyone verify that this is the release build?

Some who know it ? :) I have prepared installation USB and want to reinstall.
I am preparing for a clean Win 10 installation, too, as we speak. I used this new tool and it is downloading an ISO on my desktop. Right afterwards I will try a clean installation on my Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium system. Until the ISO will finish downloading I am passing from all the websites of the manufacturers of my devices and I am gathering the latest Win 10 64 bit drivers, available. They are not so many. Win 10 will surely have drivers for you system. Personally, I prefer to install them manually.

Are you in the UK by any chance, as maybe it's a regional unlock?

My PC was Windows 8.1 Pro
Created ISO of Upgrade - as if I reboot Now the upgrade will proceed to upgrade 8.1 to 10
gotta clone my 8.1 partition to my win10 preview partition and then let the upgrade proceed
Here I not only cloned the 7 x64 Ultimate drive but was due to make a full system image backup of the main drive while planning for 10 as the secondary OS at this time. The Media Creation tool however will simplify things by allowing for a clean install rather then upgrade over the clone!

Mine looked like this before download
I got something different following the initial change once reserved to the screen you have there until last night seeing the "You are ready to go" screen take it's place when clicking on the W10 logo icon.

If you log in here, it should say 'Welcome Back, Insider' if you are one

And then from there..... I went to the Get Window 10 button and arrived at the page to find the two links both for 32bit and 64bit Media Creation Tool. Windows 10

Use the media creation tool to download Windows. This tool provides the best download experience for customers running Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. To learn how to use the tool, go to the Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool page. Tool includes:
    • File formats optimized for download speed.
    • Built in media creation options for USBs and DVDs.
    • Optional conversion to ISO file format.
