    I will try it again, I'm all set. If it fails then I will wait. I do not like to get beaten by a piece of software.:)

    Me, too!

    Sorry, but like Bunny, I have to say I haven't had any probs with 10240. But I obviously have hardware that has good drivers available as I really haven't had any win 10 problems of any consequence at all going back to Oct.

    The problems I was having had nothing to do with my hardware or drivers. I believe it all had to do with Avast Internet Security. All is well now using defender.

    I had avast problems and after about 20 interchanges with their tech support over 1 week, exchanging system files etc) they told me that they had no idea what to do except to wait for the next update? ( I had ports visible to the internet) Never went back, never had the same problem.
