DEFINITELY... not happy with Win10!!

Going back to this position (Win7) and see if I can upgrade to Win10 from there.

If you do enter a PIN, on your first or subsequent login, on your next login you can use your password instead. Your network locations will then show up.

Have you tried updating BIOS to the latest revision ? ( if one available on support site ). Manufacturers may often release firmware updates which are required for the proper functioning of newer operating systems.
