    0x800f081f Got error in SFC & DISM too in build 10240


    i did these all scans but nothing worked im getting this error 0x800f081f does anyone had it tooo?? pls help ..

    "dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    &
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:X:\Sources\Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess"

    There's no need to point DISM to a source. Try running it normally and see what happens.

    i tried normally before i got this error 0x800f081f
    i ran again SFC /scannow my result came like this "windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them " is this was ok or something went wrong??

    Do you have an ISO of the O/S that you updated from, ie W7, W8.1.
    As they need confirmation you have a legitimate copy.
    If so restart your computer with the ISO, This should rectify any faults.

    i completly removed windows 8.1 now the permenet OS is windows 10 Pro !!

    A few days ago I was having similar issues. You can find my posts in the DISM tutorial on this site. I ended up clean-installing build 10162, which I already had as an official ISO from MS and then installing all my programs. After thirty (30) hours of using Win 10 -not actively all the time- build 10240 finally appeared. It installed smoothly and now I have no problems (besides a few known bugs that have not been fixed yet).

    A link for what? For the official ISO from Microsoft? They have been taken down, they do not exist anymore, officially. IF you trust another site you could get it from there. Just Google it.
