Opening multiple windows with Windows Explorer

    Opening multiple windows with Windows Explorer


    It seems kinda random to me but mostly when I open a second window it opens on top the the first window, but some times it opens next to the first window. Is there any way that could be made default?

    How do you open a second window - by pressing and holding the Shift button?

    Normally by pressing Flag+E, pressing and holding the Shift key does nothing for me.

    Sorry, I've forgotten to add: by pressing and holding the Shift key and clicking on Explorer's folder icon.
