'Could do better' - a lot better. I couldn't stand it at first, and it became a priority to change it, as I had with Win 8.

I don't have 'Microsoft off-white' in so many places.
(Must remember to change the inactive title bar text colour again so it's clearer).

its ok for me but why Windows is still so limited regarding visual customization evades me.

I would like to have a dark design without having to use the High Contrast option which comes with things
    i dont want.

    Late to the party.
Personally, I go for performance. Looks is secondary to me. But I don't usually install themes (it somehow affects the speed) . I just use the native GUI.

Also late to the party, if I used a supplied GUI I would go for Win 10 we have a desktop back. I have used Classic Shell since using window 8.1 and now 10 I have the best of both GUI set up the way I want. What else could I ask for?

I've never cared for the appearance of any version of Windows, but Isort of like the flat theme of Windows 10. I'm even OK with the large tiles, but I wish that the color choices weren't so limited. (oh, and the tiny icons on those huge tiles... who's brainstorm was that?)

Appearance wise, I prefer Windows 8 to Windows 10, but Windows ME has them both beaten. The main advantage W10 has over W8 is that you don't have to click the desktop icon every time you turn the computer on. I've downloaded a few "themes," but all they do is change 1 or 2 colors, which I can do without bothering to download something.

Now, this is my idea of customization:

A number of Builds ago, it was pretty blasé 'out of the box' but there are hints that it's getting better.
I'm into Visual Architecture but others may not care.

I forgot to add that if other people want to use the W10 default look, or ruin perfectly good guacamole by adding lima beans, that's fine with me, I just want options.

Visually attractive? Hmm... It took me weeks to tweak it the way I wanted. Can it be better looking? Sure. Is it running the way it should? Absolutely!! Is it blazingly fast? You bet. The last two are all what really matters in the long run. Loving 10
