    Permanently change desktop icon size

Does anybody know how to change the desktop icon size permanently?

I know you can change the size with Alt+ScrollWheel or through the View context menu on the Desktop. But those changes revert whenever Explorer is restarted (including when it decides to restart itself for no apparent reason). In Windows 7, there was a Registry setting to change the desktop icon size permanently. What about in Windows 10?

    Thanks.

Try this: Right click blank area of desktop, click View, choose small, medium or large icons.

As I already wrote: I know you can change the size through the View context menu on the Desktop. But those changes revert whenever Explorer is restarted.

Anybody else? How do you change the icon size permanently? The View > Icon Size setting is only temporary.

This is the registry change found when making the change in icon size. Note: not all the changes are directly relevant to this, of course- this is all the registry changes that occurred.
If you can interpret this, you could write a script to reapply the setting. Good luck.
