So I'm getting a ton of MSDTC errors in Event Viewer. I tried the following instructions with no luck.

The problem with DTC can be solved by hitting Shift+F10 when you get the error message displayed - you will get the command window. Then follow instructions listed here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891801/en-us, basically the following steps from that instruction are needed, here is a quote: "

  1. At a command prompt, type the following command: %WINDIR%\System32\msdtc.exe -uninstall
  2. Start Registry Editor, and then remove the following registry keys if they exist:
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CID
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSDTC
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\MSDTC
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\MSDTC
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSDTC

  3. At a command prompt, type %WINDIR%\System32\msdtc.exe -install.
  4. Wait for disk activity to stop, and then restore the startup type of the services that you changed to their original values.
  5. In the registry, create the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSDTC\XADLL
  6. At a command prompt, type regsvr32 mtxoci.dll.

You will receive a message that states that DllRegisterServer in Mtxoci.dll succeeded. Click OK to close the message.
  7. Restart your computer."

I now get this error when trying to register the DLL:
