Mysterious "memory dump" files appearing, but system seems okay...

    Hi guys,

I typically run CCleaner every couple of days, and aside from the usual browser junk files, it doesn't come across much.

However since the last bunch of Windows 10 updates (I'm currently on 1607 Build 14393.351) I'm noticing that CCleaner is coming across rather large memory dumps files - the main one is around 400MB in size.

My systems (three different machines) are all producing the same types of file, but all seem to be running fine, with no application or system crashes.

How can I check to see what's causing these dumps?

    Cheers,

    Mike.

You do know that you can do a lot of damage with CCleaner. If there are dumps from issues, it is easy to find where they are on the drive with one of the graphical mapping programs out there.
