    Taskbar Icons

    After updating Windows 10 "Features Updates" on May 9, 2018 any icon that I pin to the taskbar does not open the program. However, if I right click on the icon I can then select the program from the menu and open the program. Before the update I only had to single click on the taskbar icon to open the program.

    Here is a message that I receive when single clicking a taskbar icon;

    This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page.

    Google Chrome and Firefox are two of the icons that fail to work as described. I tried creating an association but was unsuccessful.

    Scratching my head now, help.

    Try unpinning the icons and then repin them to the taskbar. It should work.
