    Error ox80070091 - Unable to Delete Folder


    Hi all,

    I have encountered a problem on my laptop there is a folder with this error and i dont know how to delete this?

    It is a folder on my dropbox,

    I have tried various methods such as unlocker software but still no luck

    please advise

    Welcome to the forum!!

    Have you tried deleting the folder in Safe Mode:

    To start Windows in Safe Mode:
    Select the Start button, then select: Settings
    Select: Update & security > Recovery
    Under Advanced startup select: Restart now
    After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart
    After your PC restarts, select the Safe Mode startup setting by pressing its number: 4

    Also, try renaming the folder.

    If the rename is successful, delete the folder.

    You may also try getting creative, and, when renaming, add an exclamation mark to the rename. ( !whateverfolder )
