i can not get that far.. i can open a command box only. i can not get windows to start, i can not get into safe mode
Your only choice might end up doing a Repair Install. Read the tutorial and see if it helps you.

In the future hvphotog Once you get your Windows OS back and running correctly. I suggest you make a complete image backup using Macrium Reflect, and keep that image on a 2nd drive, or a External drive (Best Choice) so if something like this happens again, you will only need to restore your saved image.
