I think I detect a language problem here.
Some people used "download" as a synonym for "install". (I don't.)
Did you (Elima4) download (not install) a file for Win 10? How did you run it? (Microsoft does not permit a direct upgrade from Vista to Win 10.)
I am not sure how I uninstall my windows vista, can someone help me?
I can not uninstall windows vista, I have searched for how to uninstall but nothing has worked. Can someone walk me thru the process please?
How to do a clean install:

There's a lot of detail there. Maybe too much for many people.
You don't uninstall Vista. You erase the partition and install Win 10 from scratch. Note that with a clean install, you'll have to re-install all software and settings. That may be a problem if you lack installers for your software. (Example: if your laptop came with MS Office pre-installed.)
I recommend making a full backup image of your Vista installation before proceeding. That would allow you to go back to where you are now in the event of a problem.
I hope that Win 10 is compatible with your laptop. It's possible, but you may wish to check whether HP supports Win 10 on it. (www.hp.com) If not, it may still be compatible, but you may have trouble with drivers.
The best advice that I can offer is that you seek help from someone more experienced. You might succeed without help, but you could easily wipe out stuff that you don't wish to lose.
