Hello Huffman ... I also get the User Account Control - popup window asking me - do you want to make changes to your PC when I click on/launch Google Chrome and other Apps. It has suddenly appeared about a week ago, not sure if I helped the issue in anyway...Joe

Start by running Malwarebytes | Free Anti-Malware & Malware Removal just grab free version. I would also run detailed Windows Defender scan.
Another effective scanner: Download ESET Online Scanner - MajorGeeks

I agree with the previous poster. Strange popups can be a sign of browser hijacking, and may involve malware or adware that needs cleaning up.

Hi Fella's.... Malwarebytes - which I had already installed showed nowt - Windows Defender again came up with nowt, after first removing from my computer McAfee Security LiveSafe cos this prevented Windows Defender from operating!?
Q'... why could I not temporarily close down the McAfee Internet Security - But after removing of McAfee LiveSafe - - Windows Defender presented itself - but found nothing ''So'' it must be a Win 10 setting which I am not aware off or some conflict with Google Chrome - Why can't those two dammed Company's work together...Joe

Chrome definitely does not need administrator privileges to work. If your av scanner and Malwarebytes cannot find anything it might help to completely uninstall Chrome and reinstall it afterwards.
