Unable to change location of pictures and documents folders

When I try to change the location of the documents folder and the pictures folder, I get a message, "Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied."
I get this message whether or not I choose to move the files (of which there are none) from the default location.
Incidentally, I had no problem changing the location of downloads, music, and videos.

    I found the solution

I found the solution. I figured it had something to do with OneDrive. I had unlinked OneDrive, but I then had to delete the folders from OneDrive in a browser. Then, I had to re-link OneDrive to my PC. This allowed me to then move the folders where I wished.

I signed up to this website literally just to say thank you... I know this post is a bit old, but this is the only place I could find an answer.. Thanks :)

I, too, registered for this site solely to thank you for posting this solution. All the other solutions were either godawful complicated (editing the registry, for Pete's sake! that's what Microsoft--and others--wanted me to do) or didn't work. This simple solution of just deleting the folders on OneDrive worked perfectly.

    Thank you, thank you!
