I'm sorry but I agree with Mystere's interpretation.

Nothing to be sorry about Rocky, everyone can have their own opinion.

    Thanks Dude,

I'm glad you read the thread as it was intended and see that there are multiple lines that give Microsoft the benefit of doubt.

Let it go - the more oxygen you feed a flame, the bigger it grows.

No apology needed. There's an unofficial rule that says something along the lines of "By the third post, the thread must go off topic"

Perhaps there needs to be a new unofficial rule:
"Someone must subvert the intent of the thread and interject their personal opinion based on a misinterpretation. This subversion can only take place on the first comment of a thread. Subsequent posts that subvert the thread are covered under the hijack rules. See section 5, sub-section IX, paragraph 7 and amendment 43 paragraph 12"

"Thousands of partners"? Finding that difficult to believe. Would you please give reference to this statement?
Hipsie, Microsoft has a Partner program that businesses can join; at one time, I was a Partner. So yeah, there are literally thousands (over 500,000?) of Microsoft Partners.

And I don't! How can giving my contact information and calendar to Microsoft personalize my speech, typing and inking?

Let's take it a step further . . . Can I legally give Microsoft or anyone else my contact information? Generally, I have my contacts' name, address, phone number, email address, physical address, company name, company physical address, phone number, etc. I kinda don't think my contacts would appreciate my giving up their information to anyone.

As Microsoft moves to a different revenue model, you should pay attention to privacy of data on your devices.
Thank you, Bill. This is very enlightening. These are things we need to know as we move forward.
