Actually my daughter did and gave it to me.
I plugged it in and found it has music on it, all titles seem to be written in Arabic.
I would like to listen to the music (but how) and I would like to probably erase the contents and later use the flash drive.
I'm concerned with safety to my pc as I know nothing about the flashdrive,
First thing I would do with it is format it....thus wiping the drive. Then you can use as you want to.
Okay I will do that, I am curious as to the music on it and if I might enjoy, its all MP3 with Arabic writing, and wonder if I can play it to see??
You took quite a chance plugging that USB drive into your computer. One of the methods that have been devised to spread viruses is to put the virus on multiple thumb drives and then leave the drives laying around for unsuspecting victims to find and plug them into their computer. As soon as the drive is plugged in the virus is let loose to wreak havoc.
