Windows shuts down after waking up from sleep

This problem happened for me last week but after a system restore it was seemingly fixed. After having to restart my computer again however, it's come back: every time I put Windows in sleep mode and turn it back on, it instantly shuts off. Not even a blue screen, it just turns off before the screen has a chance to even turn on.

I am having the exact same issues. I believe the problem started after I tried installing some new drivers. Particularly some audio drivers for my SB X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card. Every time it does the shutdown, these drivers are removed and I have to reinstall them to get audio. I've tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them but the Windows 10 doesn't seem to care. The only thing I haven't tried is completely removing the soundcard from the motherboard.

I wonder if I will just have to wait for all my peripherals to provide updated windows 10 drivers

Wakes then immediatly shuts down after waking from hibernation

I too am having this problem and cant figure it out. I have not tried to remove drivers, but nothing is overclocked, running a Gigabyte Z170MX-Gaming 5, 16gb Patriot Extreme memory Profile ( Non Over Clocked, using stock profile, and tried with Extreme Profile), Radion R7 240 2GB 128bit by Gigabyte, Asus 5G Wifi PCI-E Card. Samsung SSD EVO 850 PRO 512G, Patriot 240G Ignite M.2, and a older Sata 3 200G. Pretty much it, but I do see I have the SB-X-FI as you do, and wonder if this driver or hardware is the problem.

The pc will hibernate just fine, and sleep. I can turn it on or wake it from a sleep just fine. If its been hibernated for lets say over night, as soon as I wake it with my mouse or KB, It starts booting up then shuts immediately down. I have to power it on again with the switch.

    Any resolution on this yet?

Same problem here. Never happened until I upgraded (downgraded?) from Windows 7.
