    Anniversary Update Problems

    Hi,
I've tested a few anniversary update features and although it was going to get disabled on Win 10 Pro only, on Enterprise also some tricks are not working.
As usual, to save time, after each clean Windows installation, I run a number of .reg and .bat files to highly customize the Windows as I like in seconds at very ease!
I heard some tricks in Group Policy Editor will stop working in Pro and even their Registry values will stop responding, but not Enterprise?
    For example:

    ;Show Old Clock/Calendar Style
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell]
    "UseWin32TrayClockExperience"=dword:00000001

Why not working in 10 Anniversary Enterprise?
    Thanks.

    Bump?!

Damn, Microsoft confirmed they have removed support for this key from registry even for Enterprise editions!
I wonder they don't know that Windows itself has no power in compare with Mac OS for example?
All its power is driven by millions of Win32 3rd party applications written by ISVs during decades!
If their decision for removing Win32 is real, one day, Windows is dead!
New Metro UI is even not good for simple applications!
Who can imagine to have Edius or Cubase with Metro UI.
Fountain even if goes up to the clouds, eventually will fall down, one day !!! :)

    I do agree with you.
They even removed a Basic and most important support in w10: Win32Help.
Yes, what I think MS aims is to force every Win32 to be ported to UWP, but that will Fail, many of them there is no further Development going on, so it will stay W32.
The Background Idea of the Store is that MS will ask fees from Companies that sell their Software thru it.
Is a question of business and we users, are in the middle of that war.

Surely, even we that are in development of our titles will cease migrating to UWP and prefer to move to Mac instead, MS is not stable, maybe 5 years later they find a better solution (in their mind) and retire UWP and we have to move to other thing, this is possible...
