Do you mean that people who in stalled Windows 10 after its release had white windows until the anniversary release?

No, there were never any white Windows.

Just a quick question, are you asking about the START screen or your actual desktop? Either can be personalized in infinite ways.

I'm talking about any window that is open.
On my screen all the title bars are white, I can live with that.
But I would like to see something different about window that is active.
But I don't think I change it without the upgrade.

I don't want reinstall the upgrade for the reasons I mentioned before and it make my computer a lot slower.

I can't roll back to 8.1 because I deled rollback files (I didn't know what they where at the time) to make room for the 20 GB upgrade.

    Thank you Brink,
This pretty much does the trick all my title bars are dark blue.
    (Much less annoying than white.)
    The text is white,
The active window is a brighter white.
This is for my second party windows
The Microsoft windows such as Favorites and the Recycle bin.
The are dark blue with black letters . Hard to read.
And when I use IE the top bar is dark blue no text.
I usually know what web page I'm on by the contents of the address bar.
As far as the Microsoft windows, I don't think I can change them because I don't have (or want) the Windows 10 anniversary upgrade. So maybe I'll just have to live with the Microsoft windows.
Again thank you, this has been a 99% solution.
