Win 10 Search cannot find some of my new files

    I was not able to to Snipe the result, so I used Alt/Print Screen to capture the image and put it in a word document (attached)
    It still could not find it.....

    As a test, disable the "Windows Search" service to disable the Index to see how if your search results are accurate afterwards.

    I would like to perform the test you mention, but I am at a loss as how to disable Windows Search......

    No problem. You can use step 7 in OPTION ONE of the tutorial below to disable the "Windows Search" service. :)

    Wow! That is an awesome search program! Once the program had indexed my files it found every instance of 'Sundial Bottom'.
    Great tip, PiKo.
    And, Brink, thank you for all of your suggestions. I really appreciate the effort you put into finding a solution within Win 10.

    I hope the Administrator is still monitoring this thread.... I am beyond frustrated with how Win10 cannot find my files....
    Yes, I have a supplemental search program, but I would dearly love to have the Win10 search work correctly.
    Are there any other further remedies to be explored?

    It may be worth a check to see if the file type is included to be indexed.
