I have to admit, this is something that frustrates me to no end. A lack of understanding of what's going on immediately turns to Microsoft being at fault. Please take some time to educate yourself on what is going on with your new system before pointing fingers. Ask for help if needed, but shooting blame wildly isn't going to help anyone to help you.
I have turned off all spying settings and I still cannot get rid of Cortana. I go to task Manager ant end task and immediately it comes back. Go ahead and tell me this is not Microsoft!

Thanks for the suggestion spunk. I have downloaded and installed it but when I go to publish the video I am guessing there are commands to select at the bottom of the screen but I cannot see them. (See Screenshot) How am I supposed to finish the video??Windows 10-movie-maker-6-screen.jpg Thank you.

Because Cortana is easy to hide or disable. All I do is set the toolbar box to hidden and she doesn't ever show up.

If you want a more permanent solution, all you had to do was search here.

As for what is Microsoft and what isn't, I had thought that was obvious from my list, but apparently not.

If you can't grab the title bar of WMM with your left click and drag it up, then Hide the taskbar to show the Next button at the bottom of the window in Movie Maker

This is odd as I have everything turned OFF and even went by all suggestions I could find to turn all off and Cortana still shows up in Task Manager. Even ending Cortana and it just comes back immediately. Thanks for the input.

I have moved the taskbar to the right, hidden the taskbar and still no entire dialog box.

BTW, I have even un-installed, re-booted and re-installed with the same results. No luck. I have moved the taskbar to the right, hidden the taskbar and still no entire dialog box.

Resolution is at is MAX setting now. I can grab the box at the top where the edge is and move it down, left and right but cannot make it smaller and move it up.

Thanks for tweaking my brain. I had the resolution set to 175%. After backing it down to 150% all is well.
    Thank you.
