Still a problem. But I do have another tidbit of information: It only happens when the computer goes into sleep mode. If I shut down, and restart, it does not happen.

Odd. You might turn off fast startup to see if that may be the issue with using sleep.

    I'll check it out.

BTW...any idea why this thread is marked 'Solved'?

    Well, darn. Didn't help.

I was hopeful, because the first time I put it to sleep, and woke it back up, it appeared to work. But another sleep (longer), and it didn't.

JFYI...I have now gone through the big update (I think it's often referenced as 1607). I had hoped that would clear this up. It didn't.

Unless I missed a post in here. You might have some syncing going on with other computers on the same account across different computers. Make sure this is not the case.

Hmmm...I don't recall ever setting up any kind of synching in Windows. I do have Chrome synching.

The laptop is the only computer of 3 that has this problem, which continues. I would think if it were a synching issue, then other computers in the house would have the problem too.

One interesting thing is that it seems related to sleeping. If I set it the way I want and reboot, it works fine. But as soon as the computer sleeps, it is doing it again upon waking.

    Thanks for the suggestion though.
