CMD in context menu for all Windows explorer folders

Bold word 'cmd' is at top of the folder context menu and left click on any folder results in Windows trying to open the folder using the program 'cmd'.and generates error message.* Right click on the folder displays context menu and 'open' opens the folder properly. How do I remove 'cmd' from the menu?

*Error message: 'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program, or, if one is already installed, create an association on the Default P'rograms control panel.

Hello Joninrockies, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

If you like, you could download and merge the .reg files for the Folder and Directory items in the table of OPTION TWO in the tutorial below. It will restore the default association of them for you.
