    Hibernate missing


    I have Nvidia drivers

    Hi Eli.
    Open Settings....In find a settings box type power, choose power options, then click on highlighted as shown on attachment.
    This will bring up the option hibernate.

    Hello Eli, :)

    Double check to make sure that you have enabled hibernate, then check to see if it's available there.

    Nothing worked it seems I will need a clean install

    Eli,

    As test, open a command prompt, type the command below and press Enter to see if "hibernate" is an available sleep state on your system.

    powercfg /a

    Your report indicates that hibernate is not available for your system. Just to make sure, check your UEFI firmware settings to see if you may have a "Hibernate" setting that needs to be enabled to then be able to enable and turn on in Windows.

    What brand and model is your motherboard?

    If it's an OEM PC, what brand and model PC is it instead?

    I'll be happy to look it up to see what I can find out about that model.

    For now, do you have all drivers for the motherboard/PC installed?
