New video. How to Pin Websites to Start in Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer:

This video was made by the TenForums Video Geeks in an online workshop Saturday 8th of August 2015 as a project to learn how to use Adobe Premiere Pro in video editing.

For this video we had 6 still images (TF logo, 5 text slides), 10 audio clips (background music, narration in 9 clips) and three videos (TF intro, clips about both Edge and IE showing the process).

In the workshop we put these clips and images together, edited the transitions and effects and set the audio levels, creating the above video.

My apologies for the bad narration clip quality; my microphone has had a stroke and is already retired and useless but for this project I had to take it back from the retirement. Its recording levels are at 100%, boost at max and the levels again enhanced in Premiere Pro but it still is not OK.

I wish that there was such a thing as a program that makes mouse movement smoother. Whenever I'm recording videos, I try to keep my cursor movements as smooth as possible, but it's not always perfect. I also try not to jump around too much with my mouse, and if I move my mouse accidentally, that's the end of that video. If you don't understand what I mean by "smooth", check out this video: Get Your Google Back on Windows 8.1 - YouTube (The cursor in there is obviously an animation and not their real mouse cursor) Maybe the program hides the real mouse cursor from the video and replaces it with a fake one that doesn't follow your actual mouse movements, but you can still see the mouse cursor on your computer monitor as it is recording. You can move your real mouse cursor to any part of the screen at any speed that you'd like, tap a key on your keyboard, and the fake mouse cursor will glide smoothly to the spot that the real mouse cursor was at when you tapped the key. You can also increase or decrease the speed of the fake mouse cursor using the plus and minus buttons and automatically set the speed to default before you decide where it goes (or decide how much time the cursor has to go to a given point on the screen before recording starts so you don't have to adjust the speed yourself), and another key does the clicking. You can set specific keys to do specific maneuvers with the mouse, going to certain points. It sounds complicated, but I would take it over trying to keep the mouse steady for 5 minutes and worrying about messing up.

Few fixes for good video editing:
Fast computer with oodles of RAM and many cores, video editing programs can hog system but good. Even relatively simple programs of that type can nail my 4 cores at 4.2 GHz to the max and keep it there till finish or overheat. An FX 8350 @4.7 GHz can do same job 75% faster and leave enough power to surf the net.
Wired mice and keyboard of good quality have much better response time than wireless and thus smoother movement. High mouse resolution and slow movement settings makes it more precise and smooth.
SSD for scratch files at least are much better than HDDs which can overload and introduce hiccups.

If you make the mouse cursor bigger and lower the speed that it moves at, then you can probably make it look a little smoother. It won't be impeccable, though, and I personally find large mouse cursors awkward.
