    @Wynona, @Charlie, @Dude, @Essenbe & other fellow geeks, today we start at 18:00 (6 PM) UTC, at 20:00 (8 PM) my local time, a bit over three hours after posting this. I am sorry but I had to delay the start for half an hour due personal scheduling issues.     Instructions to join the meeting in this post.

    Meeting will be online 30 minutes before the start time for you to test the connection, meeting link will be posted here. Those who have provided an email will get an email invitation which will be sent at the same time. Notice that email is not required, you can join as quest if you so wish but I will grant presenter rights when requested only for those who have provided an email address for the invitation.

    Due EU and my local regulations I must inform you in advance that the meeting will be recorded. When using the Lync Web App your chosen screen name, all chats, audio and video will be recorded so think before participating with text chat and / or audio and video.

    If you join using Lync or Skype for Business desktop app, the recorded information includes your real name and email address (name and email connected to your organisational Lync account).


    When / if you want to show your desktop to better visualize your issues and questions or just to show your progress, here are the short instructions.

    When you want to present click the Request Control button at top of the Lync Web App:

    Wait me to grant the control to you, then select your desktop as the object you want to present:

    Click Present Now:

    If you have multiple displays select the one you want to present:

    You will be notified that you are now presenting (#1). Click Stop Presenting (#2) when you want to stop presenting:

    @Kari ..... is their info or a link to what is the preferred method for creating a vid tut? Or (sounds dumb, I know) a tutorial on "How to make a Tutorial"? What capture software/method, etc. That kind of stuff. Thanks, Dick.

    We are all self learned, sharing what we know. Join us today, we will among other things discuss about possible need for a clear step by step tutorial.
