Nice job, Dude.
Really good Dude, the list updated .
Maybe set the recording level a bit higher in future videos? Not a big deal, I just have to increase the volume to hear you.
Thanks guys. I will adjust the volume. Seems to be a quirk with my headset. I think it is because I'm using Hyper-v for my W10 install. I will play with it.
BTW dear video geeks (and geekette ), as you have all been quite active I hope you will join us this Saturday: Welcome to The TenForums Saturday Live Chat! - Windows 10 Forums
Dude has already "registered" .
I'm going to try again with my Audacity video at some point - I made it more complex than it needs to be to show how to adjust volume levels, so I'll have a go at a simpler version.
Guys, am I misunderstanding something here? As far as I know you shouldn't do the recording on the virtual machine, you should use host to record the virtual machine.
I use Expression Encoder Screen Capture on host. I have a virtual machine set to 1366*768 resolution, and I capture exactly that area. It gives a nice magnifying effect when this 1366*768 is encoded to 1920*1080 video, making it possible to show full screen of the vm in video all the time without so much need to zoom in to details because the smaller resolution encoded to bigger resolution video magnifies it just the correct amount for it to work, at least in my eyes.
Give the vm you are using for this purpose a bit less resources so that the recording on host can get more.
Screenshot shows my host prepared to vm screen capture:
Kari, I have lowered the ram allocated to my VM, will see if that resolves it for me
BTW, I am sorry but I have had quite a lot to do*, the video from our meeting last Saturday will be posted here but it might still take one or two days. Encoding and editing a two and a half hours video is not fast, I do not want to start until I know that I have a half a day for it and can concentrate only for that.
