    I am sorry.
I have to bow out on this because I am not certain I know the correct answer.

Please wait a bit for someone to come along.
    Good luck.

Hi chipwood. You do indeed need the one called English International. MS being an American company considers UK as being English International.

THAT is the area I am not certain of. That is why I decided not to continue.
The fact that the OP is residing in UK does not necessarily mean his/her computer is also running English (United Kingdom).
There is a tutorial to determine the architecture of the Windows 10 the computer is running. But then it will require the OP to have an original Windows 10 Home iso file. It might get complicated and I am not knowledgeable enough to handle that.

You are probably right on all counts.

Thank you. For future reference the tutorial you have posted is for determining which ISO you have. A better tutorial is the one to determine which edition you have installed: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...installed.html

As a matter of fact, both mine and yours are not exactly applicable.
The key of the discussion is to know exactly which English version the OP need to choose when downloading the iso from tech bench.

This is the tutorial I should have posted:

    From prompt
    [CODE]dism /online /get-intl
    Code:
Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10586](c) 2015 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32> dism /online /get-intl

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.10586.0

    Image Version: 10.0.10586.0

    Reporting online international settings.

Default system UI language : en-US
    System locale : en-GB
Default time zone : GMT Standard Time
    Active keyboard(s) : 0809:00000809, 0409:00000409
Keyboard layered driver : PC/AT Enhanced Keyboard (101/102-Key)

    Installed language(s): en-US
      Type : Fully localized language.

    The operation completed successfully.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>
So, is it English Intl then? Incidentally I also tried the regedit path and that came up with no default set!

No. You are to choose English. NOT English International.

But you did not note that the system locale is en-GB. This tells me he needs the English International ISO. He chose to install the English US language and has both the UK and US keyboards but his system was en-GB.

I don't know. You may be right.
My decision is based on both Default System UI language and Installed language say....... en-US.

    excerpt from the tutorial :

InformationThe system default UI language is the language of the localized version used to set up Windows. All menus, dialog boxes, error messages, and help files are represented in this language, except when the user selects a different language.

Did you scroll all the way down to see the values at the bottom of the list?
