    Windows 10 not booting

Recently I installed Windows 10 on my desktop computer from a USB that I bought from Microsoft through Amazon.
However, it did not boot up first try, and took multiple attempts before it booted from the USB.
When it did, I began the install and left my computer for about 30 minutes to let it install. When I came back this message
was displayed on the screen: Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key. This was not a Windows notification as I have seen it before (while installing Linux Mint before I had Windows). This persisted for a while before my computer booted Windows 10. I then set it up and transferred my old files. After this I rebooted my computer as it was not connecting to the internet (I am using a Wi-Fi dongle), and then the select proper boot device message reappeared. Since then I have not been able to boot windows.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
    Thanks.

There's probably something wrong in the boot sequence of your BIOS settings. Just reset the BIOS setting for boot sequence. If that doesn't work do that and try installing Windows again.
