    File Explorer/Recycle Bin Issue

Hi guys. Wondering if you can help me with a little annoyance.

Basically when I delete files or folders I do not need, file explorer will not refresh or bring up a dialogue box saying "Are you sure you wish to send this file to recycle bin?". When I delete it, the file or folder stays there and when I try to delete it again it says it is not on that location. If I go up a level and back down the file I deleted is gone.

Recycle Bin also does not show it has a file or folder in it unless I refresh the desktop and the icon changes to the correct state.

It does not happen a lot but it has happened more than once. Not a major issue just wondering what it is really.

    Many thanks guys

You're missing the delete confirmation, which I've lived without for years, properties can bring the menu in which you can reClick the checkbox for folder/file deletion confirmation. Concerning the nonRefreshment until you do it manually, I'm wondering what security / monitoring / folder/file history maintenance shields are running.

Thank you for the response. How would I find out regarding the shield's?

I'm at school, I won't be online actively very long, only bits and pieces. I only mentioned shields 'cause in the times past I had them a little too assertively set, so I dialed 'em back some, and some of the nonRefreshment went away. Wait for others to enter in and help get you closer to a solution :)
