Try downloading Sysinternals Autoruns and check what is running at startup. It is pretty self explanatory.
Andre, you're a genius! I have been running Win Patrol, but it does not detect a lot of the programs that Autorun detects. I recognized the program as something I have run on 7 and 8, and I'm glad to have it on 10.

That's how it is, sometimes helps one and sometimes another. I'm also running Winpatrol, but must admit that I'm not so sure about it any more. Changing the ownership is slowly reflecting on preformance.

He stated that it helps him out. You solved your problem by yourself and deserved all credit for it.

And thanks for posting back about solution. Great work.

Apparently that 3rd party app fixed you alright! Never heard of that one but good to know not to bother with it! Often it does take a little manual effort as far as a good look over of what you have installed as far as apps in general to stop a culprit rather then simply counting on another 3rd party app to find out which 3rd party app is involved. That can be a double negative as you found there. At least now you know what it was. :)

When 10 1st was released, getting Windows of any type to open as desired only lasted until restart then they go back to default sizes. I Googled that as an issue & got many recommendations for the ShellFolderFix program so installed it & it resolved thee issue but as noted the subject issue just popped up in past few weeks so it's safe to assume that MS fixed it in a recent update thereby creating one problem with ShellFolderFix. No problem now for sure.

Unfortunately that is one thing that is certain fact! You never know when a new bug either with a new build or with some new problem appearing with the existing software environment you can expect to run into. With the 14291 Insider Preview some were having display issues with their dual display setups while none were seen here.

Once the next 14295 build arrived I was the one seeing an issue with the Windows assigned sounds not sounding off when having tested each individual wav file. The correction was then seen when this latest 14316 arrived. But these are also developer builds while the Threshold 2 Update out on 11/11/2015 became buggy in two months time forcing the upgrade to the then latest Insider build. The Redstone 1 first anniversary update being the next general release however will be seeing a fresh install of 10 for that.
