"The hdd isn't showing in boot options in bios"
Is the SDD brand new and you're trying to install it for the first time ? If so, in the BIOS boot settings, enable Legacy Mode and disable Secure Boot.

It is a new one man...... I have already installed in that(cloned from my hdd) ......
When I booted up it got stuck in preparing automatic repair.
Nothing with disk check too...... I just need to recover my os...... But the recovery partition is in the hdd that the laptop came with. When I tried restore or reset it doesn't work. It says it cannot detect the partition..... I check with cmd. The recovery is still there in my hdd......

Why not just do a clean install of Windows 10 to the SSD?

I dont have the key. Do I need it. It's not in the base of my laptop either. That's the problem. Else I can download a copy from Microsoft and install it.

If you have upgraded that computer from Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10 before and it was legitimately activated, you don't need a product key for a clean install because you have a digital entitlement stored on Microsoft activation servers.

Yep. Since the laptop came with Windows 8.1, Windows 10 setup should read the Windows 8 product key from bios and not even ask you for a product key or which version you want to install. Make sure you download just the regular Windows 10 from Microsoft, not the "N" version and not the Single Language version. The download will have both Home and Pro versions included.

If it does ask you for a product key, click "I don't have a product key", "Skip" or "do this later". Choose the version of Windows 10 you had before, Home or Pro. Then it should activate when connected to the internet.

Also, unless it is one of the "laptops" with an Atom processor and only 32GB eMMC memory instead of a real hard drive, you are probably going to want 64-bit, not 32-bit.

    Hello
I Have a HP Pavilion g7-1355dx Notebook PC

And I Just Upgraded From Windows 7 To Windows 10 And I Cant Hear Anything From My Headphones But Only From
My Internal Speaker. The HeadPhones Work Fine On My DeskTop And They Dont Require A Drive.

have tried updating the sound drivers from the device manager.
I have tried removing the drivers and redownloading the audio drivers from Acers website.
I have tried 'installing' audio driver with the default windows 10 audio driver instead of the realtek one.
I have tried adjusting the sample rate in the advanced properties tab.

What can I do to get sound working in my headphones again and not just the speakers.
