How to accelerate deleting of files / folder?

NTFS
512 bytes/sector
4096 bytes/cluster
Even one byte over that will take another sector's space so in theory a 513 bytes file will use up 1024 bytes of space on disk. There's more to it of course, like space in MFT etc. so you may end up wasting a lot.

So very small files obviously can use more space than slightly bigger files than those very small files, very strange.

No, no, actually I should not waste such space because I now have deleted these files. But now, after having deleted all of these files the recycle bin is shown (almost) empty:


But when I press SHIFT+DEL (the recycle bin on the screenshot being marked) the deletion is shown to be prepared and at the end there will be shown over 1 million files:




What is wrong?

A another program shows the recycle bin empty and not containing about 256 GB of data:

After deleting all files try using this program: Download UnCleaner - MajorGeeks it's amazing how much more of space it can release.

I use it every other day or after uninstalling programs (with Revo Uninstaller) or deleting lot's of files. It also cleans up a lot after doing disk cleanup for upgrade and setup file.
