    Reset Java Environment Variable Path

I had to restore my PC to factory settings because of a virus (maybe overkill, not sure) and reinstalled the Java JDK and editing the Environment Variable for Path.

    First try gave me this:

Second try gave me this (I can't remember how):

I'm trying to restore the Path variable value to its default state so that I may try again from the beginning... In Command Prompt "javac HelloWorld.java" didn't work for both the first and second scenario. Was I to add "; C:\<User>\Documents\Java\;" after the first scenario's "bin" path for my compiler to function? That directory is where my HelloWorld.java file is located.

Regardless, I'd like to reset my Path to its original state so I may try again. Any assistance is appreciated as establishing the correct path wasn't nearly as complicated earlier this semester...

Edit: In a squirt of inspiration I tried changing "jre" in scenario 2 to "jdk" but that was fruitless. Resetting it to its original value would be the best course of action right now.

Unless you have a backup of your registry, the only way I can think of to restore PATH to it's original state is to do a System Restore to before you changed it.
