    Yes that's were mine always go, because I don't change them to my desktop. Just incase you didn't know, you can just use your F5 key to refresh the desktop, its quicker. :)
    F5 ok, but I rarely have to refresh it ,my file explorer remembers my choice of the desktop and doesn't revert back to the Pictures folder .I only put them in the picture folder if I know I want to keep them

    So, I'm on 14271 and I just saved a snip to my desktop. I had to refresh to see it.

    You need to be on 14279.

    Maybe it depends on which Desktop you pick to save too? I have three listed in file explorer. One in Quick Access, another listed right under that, and one shown under This PC. The one listed under This PC is my C:\Users\Kerry\Desktop folder, the other one shows more icons in it, it includes the system icons.

    Interesting, as I only show 1 desktop, under This PC. When looking in file explorer.
