14.12 "Omega" drivers are compatible and everything works with them just don't let WU update them.

Good advice concerning drivers, have successfully downloaded "Catalyst" after updating driver from AMD and not Windows update.
Regarding my second point "adjusting screen brightness and colour" in W10.....Superb in W 8.1....where is it hidden or have they dispensed with it in W10 ?

In the CCC, "My digital displays > Display color" and/or "My VGA displays > Display color". depending which one you have. I have both and each monitor can be adjusted separately.

I am fully aware what can be achieved using "Catalyst control centre"

But as this Forum is about problems encountered using W10.. I repeat the question I posed in my original post.

Those are driver functions, whatever driver enables (even if it is from MS). Where are those settings in W8/8.1 ?

That's only for displays that have those adjustments, mostly laptops, it's unavailable for me and ordinary monitors.

my brightness can't be adjusted and even no slider in power option and intel hd control panel.
I tried all of these but still did not work out.

    1. From 10.18.15.4248 I update to the latest intel hd 4600 driver 10.18.15.4256 (17/72015)
    2. Update latest atkpackage
    3. Update latest nvidia driver

Can someone help me with this?
