W10 is fine --but is Linux so different now - All GUI's look similar

I'll give that one a try later on and see what I think of it. I used Mint before and it's really not that bad.
The main reason that I don't like Linux is the UI is too close to Windows and I really need to put more time into learning how to make the most use of it.

I still like Puppy Linux. I want to try FatDog 64 as well. I like the classic look and feel of the Joe's Window Manager. Great for older hardware. I like being able to do 2016 work in a building with a 1995 facade ... lol

IMO ... Here one person that wouldn't change what he thinks of Linux, it SUCKS ... And it will never be a prime time everyday operating system by the general populations, because it's crap. SORRY Linux "developers" at the end of the day it will always be crap no matter how perfectly you might make it

But what precisely makes it crap? The innards of the OS are VASTLY superior to Windows. I would say BSD or Solaris is even better, but Linux does make for a good foundation.

So is it the windowing managers or desktop environments that you think are crap? Just wondering.

There nothing I like about it. I hate the whole concept. I think its a total stupid design lagging for today technology. Sudo do this and that >>>Just Stupid. I hate it...But this is just my opinion, right? each to their own
