I've been having this problem recently, My Start menu on Windows 10 regardless if I use Windows Key or clicking the Start button. won't appear, I tired everything from PowerShell, CMD, and even Reset your PC yet none of them worked, Anyone have A fix? This IS coming from A legit copy of Windows 10.
Is this a clean install of Windows 10? More than likely a corrupt installation
Also did your PC have a different version of Windows on it before Windows 10?
Hmm ok. Are you able to get to an elevated command prompt?
Type sfc /scannow
This will check for corrupt system files
Plus, I see that your graphics is a Geforce 320, which is an OEM card built into some Motherboards. That graphics card is not certified for Windows 10, therefore there could be system instability because of it
I did the SFC Check and it didn't work.
It said no integrity violations? Hmm that is very odd. I've had no issues with the Windows 10 start button.
Hopefully there are others that may have a fix, but I'm almost wondering if its due to your graphics card not being compatible with Windows.
I've had several problems with the start and notification buttons...they didn't work, and I'm working with a brand new Computer that came with Windows 10 Home. When these buttons failed to execute, I would restart the computer and then the buttons would be operative. I have run SFC check without any problems being identified. I have not yet followed the suggestion offered in post #2 within this thread: Intermittent non-functioning Start, Notification??? - Windows 10 Forums, as this is a very intermittent problem...
