Dual boot Windows10 and Linux Mint

I am kinda stuck here.I installed windows10on an old dell desktop. Also decided to dualboot with Linux Mint so I
could play around.Anyway,my grandson would like the computer so I deleted the linux partition. Now when I boot
up or restart is shows GNU GRUB 2.4 and then a prompt.I then have to type exit and it will boot into windows..I would like to
get it back to normal for him so he can just boot into windows.Went into bios setup and looked at the boot menu.
    This is how it looks:
    1st.-uefi ubuntu
    2nd.-onboard NIC device
    3rd.-internal odd device
    4th.-usb storage
    5th.-usb floppy.
Trouble is I don't know what to do with that.Any help would be appreciated,thank-you.Tony

The easiest thing to do is a Clean Install of Windows 10. You can even set it up specifically for him while doing so.

The key is to delete all partitions during the installation so you are installing to a raw, unallocated drive, then the Windows installer will setup the partitions it needs and continue from there.

Since you've already had Windows 10 installed, when it gets to the part where it asks you for a key, just skip it or select I don't have a key and it will activate correctly by getting the digital license from the activation server.

Thanx for the reply, that's kinda what I thought.I have installed the OS many times but as you said to delete all partitions,I don't know how to do that when installing windows10.Any advice?
Sorry, didn't see the highlighted installation that brought me to the clean install page.I never was accused of paying attention. Thanks for the help.

You can probably also consider installing Virtualbox, then use it to install Linux Mint for playing around.
