Error when using UBCD/Parted Magic to Retrieve Windows Files...

Hi, II was using this article to retrieve personal files/pics from a Windows installation that's in a Automatic Repair circle of death.

I got all the way to Parted Magic but have the following errors when trying to open the disk. Can someone please assist? Will look into storage moving forward but for now, we have files we don't want to lose

You are showing the error on thr CD that UBCD is on, not a actual drive.

Make sure to execute Chkdsk C: /f command from Command Prompt.

What article are you referring too?
The drive you want to search on is sda2T OS.
Also, if you are going to use the Command Prompt, you have to change the drive letter to the OS drive by typing it and pressing Enter
At the command prompt (x:\sources) type this exactly as written:
bcdedit |find “osdevice” (Must include both quotes and the | ), the | before Find is the Upper case \ key) press enter. This will tell you what drive letter the OS is on. It may not be on the C: drive.

For this Example type D: and press Enter, then type chkdsk /R. Now type a Y for Yes, and reboot the computer. Check Disk will start on next bootup.
