The main things I use my computer for are forums, email, skyping with my son and his family, a very limited use of Facebook, keeping track of appointments, editing and storing photos, watching how to videos, Netflix, listening to music, some gaming, banking, keeping track of the weather, online purchasing. I won't buy clothing online or through a catalog. If I can't try it on I'm not buying it. Especially shoes. I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit.

I live in the middle of nowhere so buying anything more than milk and eggs is done online. I use it organise my plans for school, gaming, storing and sorting music, pictures and movies. Work and fun... work and fun.
Whereabouts are you? I'm in Thornhill (but I'm originally from Stoney Creek). If you're nearby, I'm doing traffic on Jewel 88.5 this morning :)

Don't need to be nearby - just heard you on Jewelradio 88.5

Good to put a voice to a face - but the traffic wasn't that useful for me :)

Haaaaa - I guess not. Though it appears MO traffic at the Hwy 4 exit is moving well in both directions east of Budapest.

OK, I'll add it to my list of things possible to buy off the internet without needing to look at them first (I agree actually, I have done, often from the US Amazon site which is the best one funnily enough).

    So...

    1. Milk
    3. GPU's
    2. Cement
    4. Books

That should cover it (and if not the list would get kinda dull).
Milk ??? off of the internet?? Really?? heck all I do is drive to my local store for milk......Cement?? same idea, except I just need to drive to local hard ware store. I live in the country, so am not in any big city, but I can drive to lots of local places for household items. I use Ebay, and Amazon a lot for buying items, that I can't find locally. I just thought getting Milk & Cement off the internet is really funny. :)

I suppose a lot of brick and mortar retailers that remain will be for picking up stuff ordered from the Internet, and that's pretty much it. I know online shopping is a boon for a lot of people, but I'll miss the malls of the 80s.
