Need Help - What has invaded my machine?

Need Help - What has invaded my machine?-capture-arrows.jpg
What application created the facing arrows over the Photoshop file logo?

What has it been doing in the background?

I noticed the system slowed a bit.

Ten of thousand of dollars of photos now tagged link this are missing from my system or at least hi-jacked out of my Adobe catalog. If the are not lost they are hidden very well at this point.

    Help!

Thanks that's it. 6 hours just to bring back the one directory. Hopefully it hasn't been enabled anywhere else.

Now I don't know if I should force a backup of the original images or uncompress the 30 layer composites.

I started the decompress and halted it after a few (6 hours remaining). Adobe bridge now sees the uncompressed files again, so it will be back to normal some time tomorrow.

    Thanks....
