An update (very large) downloaded overnight. Now no e-mail; no AVG, no system restore and probably others I've not found yet. What are Microsoft Playing at. AVG will not reinstall and windows live mail will not start, even after reinstall.
Any one else suffered.?
sure becoming a lot of fun isn't it , check post #44 for info about WLMail .my live mail still works on 2 of my win10 installs,i revived a message when opening wlm a few weeks ago now ,so I dont remember exactly what it said .. ,after I installed the update/patch ,Event though it said the patch was for win7.

PS" win10 upgrade is sure a mess for a lot of users ,myself I have experienced very few issue on all 3 of my computers
you should have already received an email like the one in the link ,thats the one I got a few weeks ago telling me of the change

What is the update number, date and time and does it change the version number of the OS?
