    Hi there.

I really like being able to aggregate 2 X 2TB of my external USB's into a single storage space with some recovery area -- I've got about 3 TB now in multi-media and it's great to be able to have them in a single DB and if the HDD's get full I can dynamically add another one.

I don't think enough mention of Storage spaces has been done but it's a BRILLIANT idea -- also much better than RAID as a) it's more efficient - you can specify % of space for recovery (or None if you think your HDD's will never fail !!!) and b) you can also have HDD's of DIFFERENT sizes in the mix.

Much better than volumes D,E,F,G etc and especially for large databases (say music or video) that can't span volumes.

W7 doesn't support storage spaces (but can access them as shares- Linux and XP can also access storage spaces as shares too).

    Cheers

I just thought of something I don't like!

I really wish we could access the charms bar the same way we do in Windows 8! It's really annoying to have to press Win-C every time I need it!

I'm liking the way Windows 10 is developing. The only criticism I have against Win10 currently is the graphics, I don't like the bland and blunt lines, I much prefer the ones used on Windows 7, they seem better finished somehow. Other than that Win10 seems to have everything in order to become the best Windows ever.
If you want to speed up the way Windows works, then you have to sacrifice these refinements, BUT at least in Windows 7 you can have either - bland (fast) or 'flash' (not so fast).

I've never noticed any difference in startup time between 7 and 10 :/
If anything 7 is faster no lock screen to load

I use the password bypass on Win8/Win10 and it boots a bit faster but not that much from my experience.

Exactly! I wish Windows 10 would offer the two options as well, bland and fast or good looking and slow instead of just bland.
