    Annoying feature

What is this, and how can I disable this annoying feature?

Let me guess.... You have a Gmail account

Google Drive is completely web based as accessed from the windows platform so either you can use that free cloud drive or ignore it. There's no software on your system

The Google drive is a simple way for transferring large files from my Android phone to my PC or tablet

Thank you for the reply, but no, this is clearly a Windows thing.

Did you click the link and look at the picture? ... I'm not asking what Google Drive is.... smh. Please click the link if you want and take a look at the screenshot. Otherwise, thanks for the reply.

Hmmm, maybe there's a Windows, application for it that I'm unaware of

Windows 10? Look under Windows Settings Apps and see if there is anything Google there....

Again, not a Google Drive issue. In the picture linked, you can see a box with rectangles in it. It appears when I drag the window around. I thought it was a part of Snap, but after disabling Snap in the Multitasking section of Settings, it still remains.
