How to import/save photos already on screen, to computer?

    When looking in My Computer I woudn't expect it to show a picture of the camera unless you actually connect the camera to your PC, if you just plug the card from the camera into your pc it will have a generic removable disc icon

    Can you do a screenshot of where you are selecting the pics, it sounds like its defaulting to the new photos app

    Oh thanks so much. We may not have found a solution but I certainly have learned a lot in the process. MS is very difficult to understand plus their constant changes probably cause more messing up. Again thank you and all the others who so generously tried to help me! :) Adela

I can't seem to figure out why the folder where the photos are is what opens up when I plug in a usb camera and not the photo app. I have autoplay enabled and photo as my default photo viewer.
