    Windows 10 32bit vs 64bit

    Hey guys,
Today i go reinstalling ntb HP 15-r008nc and here its original preinstalled OS (Windows 8.1 with Bing 64Bit)
    Ntb have 4GB ram, intel celeron n2840 @ 2.16Ghz..
My question is which version of OS you recommend.
    Windows 10 32bit or 64 bit ? (I think for this NTB)

With 4gb RAM (or less), I would go with 32-bit Windows 10 - unless you plan on upgrading the RAM in the future. 64-bit won't hurt anything, but it isn't needed until you go above 4gb RAM.

WARNING: You cannot download Windows 8.1 with Bing anywhere! I would create an image backup of the entire hard drive (I prefer Macrium Reflect Free) in case Windows 10 goes bad or you need a driver or something from the factory Windows 8.1. At a bare minimum, I would use the factory installed program to make the recovery drives/disks.

With 4GB RAM i prefer 64 Bit Windows.
It's not just the max usable 4GB RAM limit for 32 Bit, but it's also the max Address Space.

My test box has 4 GB RAM, and a dedicated GPU that has it's own Video RAM.
With Win 64 Bit i can get 4 GB usable in Windows, but with Win 32 Bit the best i can get for usable is 3.5 GB.
It's a home-built desktop, so i can tweak more things in BIOS than a pre-built would allow.
With a notebook and integrated video this may not make a difference for you.

The advantage i saw to Win 32 Bit (Win 7) is it uses less disk space, and the monthly patch Tuesday downloads are smaller (and faster).

I don't see any 32 bit drivers either. You may be much better off staying with 64 bit.

In my opinion a 64bit OS should go on a computer that has 64bit OS previously if your going the upgrade route. I don't really know that much about it in the first place.

Besides, you won't be able to run 64-bit apps and 64-bit browsers tend to perform better than 32-bit browsers.
